How To Navigate the Website

Overview:

The "Last One Standing" competition is an exciting and strategic fantasy sports challenge where participants compete to be the last remaining contender. This game format tests your ability to make smart, daily, or weekly decisions while outlasting your opponents. It’s perfect for those who thrive under pressure and enjoy the thrill of survival-based competition.

How It Works:

  1. Creating or Joining a League:

    • League Administration: Users can join an existing league or create their own. If you create a league, you become the Admin, giving you the power to set the rules, manage members, and distribute virtual money.

    • Multiple Pools: As the Admin, you can create multiple pools within your league, each with its unique set of rules and buy-in amount. These pools can either be free or require virtual money to join, allowing flexibility in how members participate.

  2. Virtual Money and Pool Entry:

    • Virtual Currency: Each league member receives virtual money from the Admin. This virtual money acts as tokens that members use to enter different pools within the league. The distribution and amount of virtual money are controlled by the Admin.

    • Pool Participation: Members can choose which pools to enter using their virtual money. Each pool operates independently, with its own set of participants and prize pool. The goal is simple: stay in the game as long as possible.

  3. Winning the Pool:

    • Survival Mechanics: Each week, members pick a team they believe will win their respective matches. If your team wins, you survive to play another week. If your team loses or draws, you're eliminated from that pool.

    • The Last One Standing: The competition continues until only one member remains in the pool. This last-standing member wins the entire prize pool, whether it's virtual money or other rewards set by the Admin.

    • Team Selection: Typically, you cannot select the same team more than once during the competition, forcing strategic thinking as the weeks progress. This rule applies until you've picked every available team or until you're eliminated.

    • Tailoring the Pool Settings: As the Admin of a league, you have the flexibility to tailor each pool to fit the preferences and skill levels of your members. Here are the key settings you can configure:

      1. Sports Selection: The "Last One Standing" format is versatile and adaptable for various sports, not just soccer. It works well with any sport that follows a scheduled format, such as basketball, tennis, and others. Whether you are playing the Premier League, NBA, or Wimbledon, your admin has a huge selection of sports to present to its members.

      2. Free or Paid Entry:

        • Free Entry: You can create pools that are free to join, making them accessible to all members without requiring any virtual money.

        • Paid Entry: For more competitive pools, you can set a buy-in amount, which members must pay using their virtual money to participate. This adds an extra layer of strategy and commitment to the game.

      3. Buy-in Amount:

        • When setting up a paid pool, you decide the buy-in amount, which can vary depending on the level of stakes you want. The buy-in can be small for casual players or higher for those looking for a more intense competition.

      4. Prize Pool Calculation:

        • The total prize pool is calculated based on the number of participants multiplied by the entry fee, minus a management fee that you can set. This formula ensures transparency and fairness, rewarding the last one standing with a substantial prize.

      5. Rebuy Option:

        • As the Admin, you can allow members to rebuy into the pool after they’ve been eliminated. You can specify how many times a member can rebuy and until which round this option is available. For example, you might allow rebuys only in the first three rounds to keep the competition balanced as it progresses.

      6. Draw Rules (depending on the sport):

        • Draw as Loss or Pass-Through: You can define whether a draw in a match counts as a loss, which would eliminate the participant, or as a pass-through, allowing them to advance to the next round.

        • Draw Limits: If you choose to treat draws as pass-throughs, you can set a limit on how many draws a member is allowed before it counts as a loss. This adds an extra layer of strategy, as participants must be careful in their selections to avoid exhausting their allowed draws.

Strategic Depth: Participants need to be strategic in their picks, considering not only the immediate matches but also planning for future rounds. Since you cannot pick the same team more than once in a pool, your choices must be carefully calculated to ensure longevity in the game.

Flexible and Customizable: Whether you're looking for a casual, no-stakes experience or a high-stakes competition with significant virtual prizes, the "Last One Standing" format offers something for everyone. Admins have the freedom to tailor each pool to their desired level of competitiveness, making it a versatile option for all types of players.
